AUTUMN HAS ARRIVED!!

Autumn has arrived. The leaves haven't started to fall as yet but the weather has changed. No more open windows. The nights are drawing in.

The Summer clothes are nearly all packed away. Still no suntan - Grrr!!! The coats are slowly coming out. Autumn fashion is in.

Less than 4 months to go before we set off on our travels in the sun. I'm sure to get my tan abroad. Can't wait. Sun - glorious sun HERE I COME!! Im buzzing with nerves and excitement at the same time. Im a terrible flyer. My daughter has to pacify me whilst we take off and land. Ever since 9/11 I've never been the same. I start getting sweaty palms just thinking about it.

The only thing to get me through the flight is my music.
I guess I should calm down and enjoy the countdown. I've waited so long for this moment and it's now just around the corner.

It's cold, raining and the wind is howling outside. Im ready for bed. Good night good people.

The good old 80's

I was born in the 70's and grew up to 80's music. What ever happened to good clean words in music and in music videos. The clothes were outrageous too. Times have changed over the years. Life seems to be getting harder and harder. When life gets too hard for me I just put on my 80's music and dance around the house. It makes me feel better. What makes you feel better?

Do you remember the Jelly shoes?  I had them in every colour. I would save my pocket money for weeks and then stroll into town and splash out. Those where the days!!!

It's nearly the weekend and i have no real plans accept watch some footie on telly and relax after a long week of work. Summer's nearly out and that's depressing as we never really had a summer to begin with. Now, we have to wait another year and hope that next years summer will be better than this one. how sad is that...I guess things could be worse.

Another Weekend...

Another weekend has come and gone. I've worked all weekend and Im tired. Another day another dollar they say. In my  case - it's another day another Euro.

The weather hasn't helped. It's been horrible for most of the weekend. It was a weekend for dvd's and a nice bottle of red wine.

Fingers crossed the weather improves before the Summer is out. We've only had a week or 2 of decent weather. Summers nearly out. I guess it could be worse....
My bed is calling and so is work tomorrow.

Looking forward to my day off on Tuesday. Is it really a day off when there's cleaning and ironing to be done? A mother's work is never done and that saying is so true.

Monday Blues

Wow, what a weekend.

From Amy Winehouse sadly passing away to Uruguay winning the Copa America 2011. Im not sure what else to say. It's my very first Post. So, Im abit unsure what to blog about. Im sure I'll get the hang of it pretty soon. Everyone seems to have their own opinion on what happened to Amy and her cause of death. I won't speculate as I was not there. I do believe though she was a very troubled young woman. Talented she was - Misguided and a loner deep down.

I'm glad Monday has almost passed and that the first day of work is over.

Find a job you like and you add five days to every week.
